May I add that camDown helps stop hackers from getting access to the webcam that I use for my work. Now I can get even more gigs as a freelancer and advertise that I have top security with my home computer and that's the truth!
Certified strawberry plants can still be planted in a sunny, well-drained position. Some popular varieties include 'Melba', 'Tioga', 'Adina', 'Ruby Red', 'Summer Breeze Red' and 'Red Gauntlet'. A great space saver is to attach potted strawberry varieties suitable for hanging baskets onto a wall to create a vertical strawberry garden. Sow seed of sugarsnap and snowpeas. These are best planted early before powdery mildew makes an appearance as they are susceptible to this disease. To sprout potatoes before planting for an even crop is as simple as placing them in a shallow box in a spot where they will receive plenty of light and air but not direct sun or frosts. They will turn green and develop short, sturdy shoots when ready to plant. If you moved daffodil bulbs last year to a sunny spot and they have failed to flower, they are probably just needing time to settle. The bulbs form their embryo flowers in the growing season before those flowers appear, so all going well, they should flower next year. Feed them now with a superphosphate-rich fertiliser, but not one with a high nitrogen content. When the leaves on a mature lemon tree turn yellow and it drops its very young fruit it is usually a sign that it needs a feed and/or water. Lemon trees must be kept moist at all times as the feeder roots are close to the surface of the soil. Feed regularly with a fertiliser high in nitrogen from spring to early autumn. Always wet the soil first before applying any fertiliser. Don't disturb the soil under the skirt of the tree as this can often damage the shallow roots. If the leaves of a passion fruit vine become a mottled yellow, thick and leathery and much of the fruit is empty then it may be infected by woodiness virus which is a disease often found in vegetatively-produced vines. There is no cure for this so when vines begin to show these symptoms they are best removed and destroyed. Poultry manure, providing it is not fresh but left in a heap until it breaks down to the colour of soil, is one of the most valuable organic fertilisers for general garden use. But as it has a high calcium content don't use it around lime-hating plants such as azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias. Poultry manure contains nitrogen and phosphoric acid but very little potash so a supplementary dressing of this may be necessary. /images/transform/v1/crop/frm/32UQzXcwHuv6EtT6StXJwQK/413c7249-c277-4321-a763-f50aecef8b33.jpg/r0_213_4288_2636_w1200_h678_fmax.jpgSeptember 9 2021 - 3: 43PMCertified strawberry plants can still be planted in a sunny, well-drained position.
